Built to last
Differing from fiberglass, aluminum hulls are significantly tougher. XO chose aluminum as their material of choice for commercial, search-and-rescue, and military operations, where durability is paramount.
XO hulls utilize only the highest quality marine aluminum (AlMg4,5/5083), with a max design stress of 113 MPa (ISO 12215-5). All XO models are built with an 8 mm thick keel, 5 mm bottom panels and 4 mm side panels, and are reinforced with honeycomb sheets. This is a perfect design for the island cottagers.

The newest edition to the XO’s fleet, the XO EXPLR 9. Making its debut in 2020, the XO EXPLR 9 comes wider and more voluminous, giving the boat added stability and a larger capacity.
Drawing inspiration from the Nordic environment, very similar to Canada’s, the XO EXPLR 9 is the perfect boat for adventurers traveling to all corners of the world. The boat has added amenities that include air-conditioning and heating, as well as featuring XO’s renowned aluminum deep-V hull. XO EXPLR 10 SPORT +
EXPLR 10 Sport + adds to the already incredible EXPLR 10. Including a double berth sleeping cabin instead of the open cockpit on the 10. The outboard model comes with either a single or twin engine setup, while sporting a fully protected aft deck area with numerous seating options. 8-10 people can comfortably travel through the roughest of waters and navigate steadily with ease, while the front cabin sleeps two people allowing for multi day adventures.
